Keeping an eye on the little ones with the Motorola MBP36S Video Baby Monitor

My children are sneaky. And when I say my children – I mean all of them from the baby to the oldest, they are all sneaky little rascals. My boys goof around at night when they are supposed to be sleeping and my daughter has a new hobby of throwing everything out of her crib in the middle of the night and then crying relentlessly because she wants everything back in her crib. I have to keep an eye on these children to make sure they are being safe and to make sure that if I am opening the door to their rooms I know what I am walking into.

I love having a video baby monitor, because it means that I can check on my children without worrying about waking them up. I can see them day or night {thanks to the infrared night vision} and I can even talk to them through the Motorola MBP36S Video Baby Monitor. And if they move around and get out of bed I can remotely pan, tilt, and zoom. This is especially helpful for my children that are out of the crib and think that hide and go seek at night is a good idea.

What we love about the
Motorola MBP36SVideo Baby Monitor:

My favorite feature of this unit is the ability to remotely pan, tilt, and zoom. I can place my camera in one corner of the room and I can keep an eye on everything by simply pressing a button on the monitor and changing the view point of the camera.

I love having the ability to talk to my children through the monitor. I push a button and talk and my children can hear what I am saying. I cannot tell you how many times I have told my children to get back into bed without ever entering their room. This means I am not making 40 trips up and down two flights of stairs every night.

I love the picture quality on this unit; it is crystal clear and in vibrant color! The 3.5” diagonal screen is a great size and makes seeing everything super easy. No squinting required.

When in night vision mode, the light on the camera unit is not too bright. This means that the light is not keeping my children awake at night and I am still able to get a clear picture of my child sleeping.

The menu button gives me the option of controlling the volume, zooming in on the picture, changing the brightness, playing one of five lullaby songs in the nursery, setting a timer, switching camera units, adding or removing additional cameras, and setting an alarm on the parent unit.

I would highly recommend this video monitor for anyone with children or expecting. I would even recommend this monitor to those people who are taking care of someone sick or elderly that need supervision. Having the ability to communicate through the monitor is a big bonus and has come in handy for us when keeping an eye on my older boys. Being able to move the camera around without having to enter the room is also a phenomenal feature that I use constantly.

The monitor states that it has the ability to add additional cameras and it even has the capability to view two baby units simultaneously with picture-in-picture technology. My unit only came with one camera – so I was not able to verify this feature. I have had no problems with this camera and I love all the features that they have packed into this fantastic little unit.
