I was
recently invited to participate in the #Graco15ForMe blogger event which took
place in the home of one of my favorite local bloggers Emily from Baby Dickey.
I was able to spend some time with a group of local bloggers learning all about
the new Graco Little Lounger in Dakota and all of its awesome features.
I had a
lot of fun playing with the Little Lounger and since I brought baby Julia with
me I was able to really test this product out during the event. Julia was enthralled
with the little stars on the mobile and was a big fan of the adjustable recline
option. Since I am all about baby gear, playing around with the Little Lounger
was a treat for me as well. Graco was kind enough to send each of us bloggers
home with one of our own for further testing.
What we love about the Graco Little Lounger:
I love that this is 2 products in one; a rocking seat and a vibrating lounger. Baby gear seems to multiply once you bring it home and before you can blink your eyes your house has been taken over by baby gear. So when a product can be multifunctional it quickly becomes a family favorite.
The
Little Rocker can gently rock back and forth in rocking seat mode or you can
flip the rock locks and eliminate the seats ability to rock, creating a stable
and secure seat for baby.
The
seat has a vibrating option with two different degrees of strength. With one battery
{yes I said ONE battery} the seat can vibrate with the switch of a button.
I am a
big fan of the fact that the Little Lounger can collapse for portability. By
simply pushing the “push to fold” button you are able to fold and lock the seat
for easy storage or for traveling convenience.
I love
the mesh on the sides of the seat and the soft plush fabric used for the
lining. It creates a safe, soft, and breathable seat for baby to play and rest
in.
The
seat reclines. This was a big plus for us as my daughter really likes to sit up
and see what is going on around her. We have used the seat to rest in and to
play in and having the ability to adjust the recline of the seat makes the
world of difference.
I have
used the Little Lounger around my house to buy myself time to cook dinner, get
in a quick run, and to get dressed and ready for the day. This little seat has
bought me 15 minutes of me time… and then some. I have even used some of the
makeup tips I learned at the #Graco15ForMe event from Rachel at rdArtistry. For
example, I now know that the brightest part of my face should be the center of
my face and that if I want to get rid of the dark circles under my eyes {from
lack of sleep- thanks to baby Julia} I should blend my concealer out and
continue to my outer eye instead of stopping at the end of the dark circle. The
Little Lounger has helped me to keep baby Julia safe and secure so that I can
get things done when I need to.
