I
keep falling more and more in love with Joovy and all of their products. This
fall my new Joovy love affair is with the Joovy Groove Ultralight stroller. It
should come as no surprise that I love strollers, but not all strollers are
built with the same quality and thought that goes into Joovy products and the
Groove Ultralight is a great example of this.
Years ago my husband decided
that we needed a lightweight stroller, an umbrella stroller. We went out and
bought a very inexpensive {cheap} lightweight stroller for my husband to use on
quick jaunts to the park or short shopping trips. Well… you get what you pay
for and the inexpensive umbrella stroller we purchased quickly became a dust
collector in the garage. When Joovy provided me with the Joovy Groove
Ultralight stroller for review I knew I could finally give away my husband’s
old umbrella stroller. This was a definite upgrade and I now find myself
choosing the Joovy Groove Ultralight stroller to use on more and more outings.
The Joovy Groove Ultralight stroller is super light – but it still keeps all of the awesome
features that I look for in a stroller. I have no idea how they made it work,
but they did and I love it! This little stroller reminds me of the Genie from
the Disney movie Aladdin “Phenomenal
cosmic powers in an Itty-bitty living space.” The Groove Ultralight has all of
the bells and whistles I love in a full size stroller, only it’s a lightweight
stroller weighing in at only 12.78lbs. It is pretty phenomenal!
What we love about
the Joovy Groove Ultralight:
I am once again in love with the vibrancy of
the colors offered by Joovy. This stroller is Purpleness and it is just that -
a vibrant beautiful purple with a harness in a gorgeous orange. The colors just
pop!
The
Groove Ultralight has storage. I was not expecting this in such a lightweight
stroller, but it has storage galore. There is a nice size basket beneath the
seat, a zippered pocket on the back for cell phone and keys, a cup holder for
my water bottle, and even little mesh pockets on the inside of the seat for my
little ones toys and pacifiers.
This is
a very comfortable ride for my children. The adjustable leg support and
unlimited recline positions {to 149 degrees} makes this stroller perfect for
both my four month-old daughter as well as my 2 year-old son. My children can
lay back and nap on the go with the seat reclined to its fullest or sit upright
and cruise around with the seat adjusted to a comfortable recline position.
The
large canopy is great and it keeps the sun out of my children’s eyes while we
stroll around the neighborhood. I was not expecting such a large canopy for a
lightweight stroller and was pleasantly surprised by how big this one was. I am
also a fan of the reflective material on the canopy and seat, making this a
safe stroller for our shorter fall and winter days ahead.
Have I
mentioned yet how lightweight this stroller is? It is so lightweight it comes
with a shoulder strap for you to carry it with. It really is that light and
when you have multiple children and a ton of baby stuff - light is good.
Joovy
has done it again. They have come out with a phenomenal stroller that has
longevity and style. I love all of the storage available with this stroller and
cannot believe that they were able to pack everything into such a sleek and
functional lightweight package. It is a beautiful stroller that I love using. I
would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a lightweight
stroller. In fact I am planning on picking one up for my mother so that she has
a great lightweight stroller to use when I am not around {she totally fell in
love with my Joovy Groove Ultralight when she came to visit}.
