After
having baby number three I have been making an effort to be more conscientious
about my daily fitness choices. Being healthy is a choice and one that I usually
enjoy making. So when Best Buy offered to send me the Misfit Shine Elegant
Wearable Tracker to review I was very excited. This was an item that I had on
my Christmas wishlist, so it was like Christmas came early in my house. I have
been testing it out for a couple weeks now and I have noticed that I am making
more of an effort to be more active daily.
Shine is a gorgeous device that will empower people to be more proactive about their personal health. It certainly has made me more aware of exactly how active I am and how far I have to go to reach my goals. I am a huge fan of the fact that I can track all of my progress via the Shine App on my phone as well as by tapping on the Shine tracker itself. The app is really easy to use with the Shine devise.
I track my sleep patterns as well as my
fitness goals. Having an infant in the house guarantees the fact that my sleep will
be interrupted, but I had no idea how much my sleep was interrupted! I am
working on getting my baby on a better schedule in the hopes that it will help
with her night time feedings… and that I will get better sleep too.

The Misfit Shine Elegant Wearable Tracker is unique in that it can be worn with extra accessories like a necklace or a wrist band. It can also be worn by using the magnetic clip that is included with the product. I like to wear it on my collar around my neck during the day and when I go running I attach it to my shoe. I like to switch up where I wear the Shine tracker and the magnet that comes with the Shine is strong enough that I can wear my Shine pretty much anywhere.
One of my favorite features of the Shine is
the 12 halo LED light that shows you how far you need to go to reach your goal
as well as what time it is. That’s right. The Shine tracker is not just a tracker,
it’s also a watch. I have my Shine set to notify of my goal first and then tell
me the time. When I double tap on the interface it will light up!
Shine is exclusively available in additional
